  • Common Name - usually domain name without "www" part.  Issued certificate will cover both "www" and "non-www" part of your site.
  • Your Personal / Company Information.

Step 1:  Login to your DirectAdmin Control

Step 2: Under the "Advanced Feature" section locate the "SSL Certificates Link". This link only visible if your hosting package has SSL feature enabled.

Step 3: From the configuration screen, select "Create a Certificate Request" radio checkbox and Fill our rest of that section with relevant information requested.  For "Country Code" use 2 Letter ISO Country Code and for "Common Name" field will be detected and auto populated, please do make sure it is correct.

Step 4:  Once everything in previous is correct, click on the SAVE button.  Your CSR will be visible on the next page like this:

Important:  When you are copying and pasting make sure you copy everything including the line -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE REQUEST-----  and  -----END CERTIFICATE REQUEST-----.  You must not modify anything.
